Description
Excursion to the Traditional Small Circuit, with a panoramic point, stop at the bell tower and view of the Llao Llao Hotel. Then a Swiss colony is visited.
You can taste the traditional curanto, an originally Araucanian food that was introduced from Chile by Emilio Goye, one of the first settlers of the colony. Its preparation is quite a ceremony, which can be witnessed on Sundays and begins before noon.
In addition, there are several tea houses and restaurants, handicraft businesses and an important artisan fair that became an essential tour for everyone who visits the place.
Colonia Suiza was the first European settlement in the region. Declared historical heritage, it maintains intact the original characteristics of the time of its foundation (end of the 19th century)
